La Reine

Sliced fresh button mushrooms, black Taggiasca olives from Liguria, wild hand picked oregano, a drizzle of garlic oil and topped with Yorkshire ham on a base of our tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.

Vesuvio

Ventricina piccante salami from Calabria, pepperoni and smokey nduja, home-pickled Calabrian chilli, on a base of our tomato sauce and mozzarella, and topped with peppery rocket.

Summer Garden

Marinated char-grilled artichokes, courgette, Sicilian sun-blush cherry tomatoes, wild oregano, a drizzle of garlic oil on a base of our tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Topped with Parmesan cheese.

Leanne

A white pizza (no tomato sauce) topped with garlic, wild oregano, mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced courgettes & fresh button mushrooms, Sicilian sun-blush tomatoes and torn ventricina piccante salami.

Gorilla

Chopped garlic, wild oregano, Calabrian chilli, and fresh basil with mozzarella and tomato sauce.

Marinara

Chopped garlic and wild oregano with mozzarella & tomato sauce. Simple but delicious.

About Us

In 2014 Roberto & Fiona combined their skill and passion for Mediterranean food and way of life and created The Gorilla Kitchen – a go-anywhere outdoor pizzeria for fun alfresco eating.

“Starting with great ingredients is everything to us. We source them from artisan producers in Calabria, Umbria and in our home county of Sussex. From a small holding in the far south of Italy we get fragrant wild oregano which has been picked by hand. They also supply our spicy nduja, a soft salami paste, packed with paprika and chilli, which is a speciality of the village of Spillinga.

We now collaborate with the organic family farm, San Felicissimo in Umbria. We use and sell their amazing single-estate organic olive oil and their hand-made salami produced from a small herd of free-range pigs. Using fantastic ingredients and keeping it simple is what it’s about”
